"Known for Quality & Consistency"

Sally Sherman Foods Get To Know Us

Sally Sherman Foods® has positioned itself as a leader in the prepared salad, food processing and packaging world by recently obtaining full compliance with the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Code Edition 7.1 from the SQF Institute. The scope of this registration covers the recipe meals manufacturing in our egg, seafood, tuna and chicken salad divisions.

The Safe Quality Food (SQF) Institute Mission is to deliver consistent, globally recognized food safety and quality certification programs based on sound scientific principles, consistently applied across all industry sectors, and valued by all stakeholders.

"This accomplishment is a result of our newly redesigned protein plant which is part of a complete face lift and refurbishing of our company." said Thomas Recine, President of Sally Sherman Foods. "The face lift included new refrigeration, production kitchens, information and technology systems and compliance with all FDA, USDA, OK and HAACP certifications." Earlier this year Sally Sherman Foods has achieved a 98.65% ASI Food Safety Rating score on our Food Processing Quality Systems and Product Safety Inspection Audit. "The quality and safety ratings are a shining example of the level of excellence we strive for every day. We as a company are all very proud of these accomplishments."

The SQF Code, Ed. 7 meets the needs of all suppliers in the food industry through an internationally recognized certification system, featuring an emphasis on the systematic application of HACCP for control of food quality hazards as well as food safety. The implementation of an SQF management system addresses a buyer's food safety and quality requirements and provides the solution for businesses supplying local and global food markets.
